ABOUT THE FOUNDER OF SCIENCE SPECTRUM
dr. Aida Budrevičiūtė
Aida graduated with distinction from the Krekenava Mykolas Antanaitis gymnasium (Lithuania) in 1996, and attained a BA in Management from Kaunas University of Technology in 2000. In 2005, she successfully defended her master’s thesis on “Evaluation of Patient Perception of the Use of Marketing Elements in an Outpatient Clinic” at Kaunas Medical University. From 2013 to 2020, she was a doctoral student at the Department of Health Management at the Faculty of Public Health at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, where she successfully defended her dissertation on “The Management of Value Creation for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Lithuanian Primary Health Care Institutions and Opportunities to Increase Competitiveness” and was awarded a PhD in Medical and Health Sciences. Over the course of her career, Aida has published over 30 scientific articles. She has also held the position of chief researcher of the biomedical study “Challenges of COVID-19 Pandemic in Family Medicine”; has worked for international pharmaceutical companies and both private and public companies in Lithuania; and has volunteered for UNICEF, the British Heart Foundation, and Scope.
